Şebinkarahisar Virgin Mary Rock Monastery belongs to the Byzantine Period. It is reminiscent of Trabzon Sümela Monastery with its construction in a large hollow in the middle of a steep cliff. It is located in Sarıyer Village Kayadibi Neighborhood, 11 kilometers east of Şebinkarahisar District of Giresun Province.
