Pamukkale Travertines
A look at Pamukkale district and Denizli province from Pamukkale Travertines.

Pamukkale is a natural location in Turkey’s Denizli province and includes the Terraces and travertines of the City Thermal Springs and the carbonate minerals remaining from the flowing waters. Pamukkale terraces consist of travertine, a sedimentary rock precipitated by the hot spring water. The area is also on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
