The mosque that Fatih Sultan Mehmet, one of the Sultans of the Ottoman Empire, ordered to be built in Şebinkarahisar, where he set up a tent while returning from the Battle of Otlukbeli. The mosque, which was first made of wood, was burned twice in the great fires of Şebinkarahisar, then it was rebuilt from cut stone in accordance with its original form.
